Hi,
Disabling the root fs didn't do anything more for me. I think I'm out of
options. Can anyone help me?
Kind Regards,
Ruben

Ok,
I reinstalled everything a couple of times now with ext3. When setting up
the NIC with a static IP it gets a little further. But the original kernel
still boots with a read-only fs, so it's not easy to restore things.
Anyways, doing it in the VM is a real plus.
What happens currently is that the kernel panics on mounting the root fs and
then it enters kdb in a debug mode. I am feeling like a real noob. Should I
have done something else. Maybe not enable root fs failover? I'll play
around with it a bit.
