GDay, I am attempting to build an ssi cluster based around the following primary node. Athlon 750 TBird Asus K7V Mobo 256Mb SDRAM 2 x Intel 10/100 NIC's Adaptec SCSI card 4Gb IDE HDD 3 x 2Gb SCSI HDD 1Gb SCSI HDD 700Mb SCSI HDD During the RH9 installation I configured the scsi's into 3 software RAID1 mirrors, 2gb for os, 700mb for home and 1gb for data. The problem I am having is after installing openssi 1.0.0-rc4 and running the symlink script, when I try to boot into the ssi kernal it attempts to mount the raid, dies and says can't find root, halting system. If I boot back to the standard kernal everything is peachy. Is there something I'm doin wrong or doesn't the ssi kernal support s/w raid? Thanks, Jordan. |
