Hi, I guess the problem is with Makefile picking some loadleveling related files even when Mosix load level is disabled. But for you the easier way to get around will be to enable Mosix load leveling during make xconfig. ie, make xconfig => Enable all cluster option including Mosix load balancing. make dep make bzImage. -aneesh On Mon, 2002-08-12 at 12:48, Sadanand Kota wrote: > Hi, > Thanks, But I am getting new errors now, > Its like this: > ld -m elf_i386 -r -o kdba.o kdba_bt.o kdba_bp.o kdba_id.o kdba_io.o > kdbasupport.o i386-dis.o > make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/kdb' > make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/kdb' > make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.16' > kallsyms pass 1 > ld -m elf_i386 -T /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/vmlinux.lds -e stext > arch/i386/kernel/head.o arch/i386/kernel/init_task.o init/main.o > init/version.o --start-group arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o arch/i386/mm/mm.o > kernel/kernel.o mm/mm.o fs/fs.o ipc/ipc.o kdb/kdb.o > /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/cluster/cluster.o drivers/char/char.o > drivers/block/block.o drivers/misc/misc.o drivers/net/net.o > drivers/media/media.o drivers/char/agp/agp.o drivers/char/drm/drm.o > drivers/ide/idedriver.o drivers/scsi/scsidrv.o drivers/cdrom/driver.o > drivers/sound/sounddrivers.o drivers/pci/driver.o drivers/pcmcia/pcmcia.o > drivers/net/pcmcia/pcmcia_net.o drivers/pnp/pnp.o drivers/video/video.o > drivers/usb/usbdrv.o net/network.o > /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/lib/lib.a /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/lib/lib.a > /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/lib/lib.a > /usr/src/linux-2.4.16/arch/i386/kdb/kdba.o --end-group -o .tmp_vmlinux1 > fs/fs.o: In function `loadlevel_read_proc': > fs/fs.o(.text+0x25163): undefined reference to `loadlevel_on' > fs/fs.o: In function `loadlevel_write_proc': > fs/fs.o(.text+0x252e1): undefined reference to `loadlevel_on' > make[1]: *** [kallsyms] Error 1 > make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.16' > make: *** [vmlinux] Error 2 > > > Thanks, > Sadanand > > > > On 12 Aug 2002, Aneesh Kumar K.V wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > These files are generated during the make dep stage.
