I couldn't find anything wrong with your dhcpd.conf file. The mention of pxelinux.0 should not be a problem. The best I can determine from the info you've given me is that the booting node finds the DHCP server on the first node (you can confirm this if it displays the IP address that it's supposed to have) but it's unable to talk to the TFTP server on the first node (there is no stream of dots on the booting node indicating a download). The problem is something that's preventing TFTP from working correctly. When you installed the first node, did you configure your firewall to treat the cluster interconnect interface as a "trusted" interface (or disable the firewall altogether)? If not, the firewall code could be preventing the booting node's connection request from reaching the TFTP server. Brian |
