You either need to move /etc/securetty out of the way (far easier) or
make "node-encoded" entries ("vc/1" becomes "1/vc/1", "2/vc/1", etc.)
for every node's console. Also, because we are running devfs, if you use
serial consoles "ttyS0" doesn't work because it is a symlink, you need
to use "tts/0".
Getting this updated automatically during our installation is on our
"todo" list.
