Hi,

Support for newer Distribution like Debian 4.0 and Debian sid would be nice - maybe with a deb svn repo of daily snapshots?

The use of a newer Linux Kernel will bring a better Hardware Support for "Desktop Clusters".

Faster Porting to new Kernel Version will be nice.
Like 2.6.18, 2.6.24/25?

It is kernel 2.6.12. I hope on Debian soon we can get support for at least kernel 2.6.18, where many more drivers (mainly ethernet drivers) were added.

I'm looking forward to porting the 2.0.0pre3 (aka. 1.9.6) release to a newer 2.6 kernel... Thinking about why not to 2.6.16.y stable stable first as in the original plan.
