Hi there ,i'm haveing trouble with key authentication. I did exactly what is in the key auth.txt.
But it isn't working! It always tells me (on the klient machine) that server refused our key. What sholu i do, I have tryed serveral ways by now. with authorized_key, authorized_key2 with dsa, rsa, even rsa1, on the client side i'm using putty 0.55. I have always converted the private key to putty format (ppk) with puttygen. One more thing when i'm generating a
key the program tells me that it will put the public&private key to my home directory. /home/myname/.ssh/id_dsa>: and insted of puting there, it places to c:\programfiles\openssh\bin. is it possible that this is the problem? End if so, could you tell me what should i do?

i've solved the problem it seems that strict mode was the key in this problem. Just like the manual said....
