I am a newbie trying to set things up - so please bear with me. I have got 9.4.5 server to build and run on Solaris machine. I am running into following questions/issues. I would remain ever grateful if you can spend just a few minutes and push me in the right direction. Thanks.
1) When I run rcssclient I get "Sending to port 6000 on localhost"
Nothing happens in the server display - so I assume either the server is listening to a different port or I am not reaching the server at all. How do I get the rcssclient to listen to the right port of the right host? i.e. is there a config file? does it take command parameters?
2) when I run the rcssserver - I get a text display - the manual (old one for 7.0) says something about a monitor - which seems to have graphics etc. - where is it? How do I get it to run?
3) Is there a more later version of the Manual? I am using the one that refers to the 7.0 version.
Thanks again.
