After a huge amount of efforts I could finally install rcss 12.0.0 under my Fedora Core 9. The server and monitor encountered no error in installation phase. I use the command "rcsoccersim" to begin server and monitor. Then I use "rcssclient" to check the overall operation of the system. The problem is that I can't execute any command in rcssclient. It just returns "Got Lock" in "Other" section in response to any of my commands which I write in "Input" section. I write as following "(init Team1)" or "(init Team1 goalie)" or even "asdfsadfas". Even when I’ve not ran the server or the monitor it responses as before, "Got Lock".
It would be so helpful if anybody can help me. Very many thanks,
Amir
ps. recently I’ve updated my OS using the following command "yum update"
