[SM-PLUGINS] show folder sizes on left hand side

I have the folder_sizes plugin and it works great, but i want to be able
to see the sizes of all my folders on the left hand side without going to
another page.  I know this sounds trivial but it would be nice to see how
much space my folders are taking up.  Just the total amount would be fine.

does anybody have any ideas about how to do this?
