IMAP date search

Hi,

I played around a bit with dates for imap search. I want some archive 
folders, so I need date search. Maybe I build an archive plugin for that.
To get the mails for a timeframe I added SINCE, BEFORE and ON to search.php

I added that :

if (isset($where) && $where == 'BEFORE') echo '           <OPTION 
VALUE="BEFORE" SELECTED>'._("Before date")."\n";
   else echo '           <OPTION VALUE="BEFORE">'._("Before date")."\n";


(and instead BEFORE the other two SINCE and ON, too).

I read the RFC and it says it wants RFC 822 dates so i tried something 
like "1 Jan 2000" or "1 Jan 00". It does not work. I copied dates from 
headers. does not work.
Tried IMP. Found no date search ;)

Any ideas....?
