Okay, the easy stuff first. Warnings are normal in PHP, they are simply informational. In php.ini, change "error_reporting = E_PARSE" (or higher) to prevent warnings from showing up. Better yet, use "error_reporting = E_ALL", "display_errors = Off", and "log_errors = On", as recommended in php-4.1.x That should take care of the "Warning: Passing locale.." notices and "Waring: Cannot add header.." messages. The "Warning: open(C:\PHP..." error is saying that php was unable to open a file for reading and writing. Check permissions in the session directory, as that is most likely the cause. The web server user needs read + write access to the directory to keep track of session information. I'm no Windows expert, so I can't tell you the specifics of checking permissions in Windows. Finally, the HTTPS redirect error. PHP is reporting that IIS is running a secure server, so SquirrelMail is using HTTPS in all of its redirects. Your hack should fix the problem... just comment out the section that detects HTTPS and sets $proto = "https://" May I also recommend the latest CVS snapshots, as they may fix problems in the release versions. (Although other problems max exist, use for testing only!) - Jon > I installed 4.06 and got: > Warning: open(C:\PHP\sessiondata\sess_005b3f03e5fbe36eb8f2739a06633f5b, > O_RDWR) failed: m (2) in c:\program files\apache > group\apache\htdocs\squirrelmail\functions\gettext.php on line 24 > > Warning: Passing locale category name as string is deprecated.
