Ack. Well, I don't have access to a PHP-4.1 box right now, so I'm
turning to the rest of the crowd with the hopes that someone will figure
this one out. I'm unlikely to be running PHP-4.1.x until the next
version of Red Hat, since I can't spare a production machine to build a
rawhide version right now.
