How > does that come? Is this supposed behaviour? Vanilla SquirrelMail 1.4.23 does not exhibit this behavior that I can tell. I can imagine two potential issues: 1) Debian could have their own changes to the code in various places that might affect this. You should report to them, as we only support code downloaded from squirrelmail.org 2) You might be running the Preview Pane plugin or some other plugin that modifies this behavior. The newest code of Preview Pane does have a similar (but not identical) issue where you may see that the "Delete & Next" link becomes active in the scenario you've described because the preview and message list panes update asynchronously - not much you can do about that, and for such a minor issue, I don't see much reason to worry about it. It will *not*, however, cause the "Delete & Previous" link to become inactive (unless you got to the first message in the folder), so that's something particular to your environment or Debian's code.
