Hi, I am testing the spam_buttons (2.2-1.4.0) plugin with SM version 1.4.13 and compatibility 2.0.10-1.0. The only thing I need to have it to is send a copy of the message (with full headers) to a spamtrap address when the user clicks the Spam button. In addition, I would like to have it delete the message at the same time so the user doesn't have to delete it separately. I have the following changes from the sample config file: $show_not_spam_button = 0; $is_spam_resend_destination = 'spa...@ua...'; and it works fine. I get the spam with all headers at the spamtrap address. But when I try to have it delete the message by setting this: $sb_delete_after_report = 1; It will still send the selected message(s) to the spamtrap address but it throws this error: ERROR: ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server. Query: LIST "" "mail/Trash" This happens whether I select the Spam link while reading the message, or select the message (or multiple messages) in the Inbox and click the Spam button. There is no corresponding error in the syslog when this happens. This may be related to a similar issue that is described in the README regarding dropped connections when deleting messages. We are using UW IMAP under Solaris 10. Has a workaround been found for this? If not, would it help if I were able to take some packet dumps between the SM machine and the IMAP host when this happens? Some students have asked for a Spam button and this looks quite promising. Thanks... Jim McCullars University of Alabama in Huntsville |
