my system is fc4 - about 300 virtual domains and a few ssl domains - none o= f the ssl domains are used to access SM problem: when composing email and you click send - page hangs or you get an error depending on the browser but the email is sent. what i know: SM is trying to bounce the user, after clicking send, to https://mydomain.com:80 which is a prob - i don't have a ssl server for that domain and if i did it wouldn't be on port 80 In the past i have been fixing this by going to squirrelmail/functions/strings.php and forcing the $proto to be http:// /* * If you have 'SSLOptions +StdEnvVars' in your apache config * OR if you have HTTPS=3Don in your HTTP_SERVER_VARS * OR if you are on port 443 */ $getEnvVar =3D getenv('HTTPS'); if ((isset($getEnvVar) && !strcasecmp($getEnvVar, 'on')) || (sqgetGlobalVar('HTTPS', $https_on, SQ_SERVER) && !strcasecmp($https_on, 'on')) || (sqgetGlobalVar('SERVER_PORT', $server_port, SQ_SERVER) && $server_port =3D=3D 443)) { $proto =3D 'https://'; } but every time yum updated SM it would over write my kludge and my clients would call me screaming that they couldn't send. It seems that getenv('HTTPS') is reporting ON when the connection isn't using https. I am not sure why? I have been trying to figure out in httpd.conf ssl.conf and php.ini what would be causing this but I can't. The question: Does anyone know why my LAMP would always be reporting that that ssl is on? and if so how do i turn it off but still have my ssl domains work. (or is i= t another problem all together) thx in advance chris |
