Hi Brian,
.forward is handeld as a user side /etc/alias
and will be included always by postfix before
procmail ( whatever you configure ), so if the user set vacation
by .forward in the gui answer is done to spam too, if procmail
would be in .forward i should be able to  filter out spam
and put it some Junk folder and dont pass it to vacation , in theory.
Maybe you have another idea , i dont see any other way to handle this
