Er, if the database received the new password, how in the world are you able to log in with the old password...??!?!? Ummmm I'm baffled. The only thing I can think of is that there is a cookie/session problem, but that really shouldn't happen. Can you do this: have your interface to mysql open (keep an eye on the password field) while you are logging in to SM, and then change your password... did the database password change after you submitted it? Then log out (and possibly close your browser) and log in again.... Uhhh... if the password changed in the database, then there is no way you should be able to log in with the old password. Period. Unless there is somewhere else it's looking for a password (not familiar with vpopmail, but maybe it has a password cache or backup system or...???) - paul > -----Original Message----- > From: squ...@li... > [mailto:squ...@li...] On Behalf Of > web...@we... > Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 11:04 PM > To: pdo...@an... > Cc: web...@we...; squ...@li... > Subject: RE: [SM-USERS] change_mysqlpass issue > > > Here is what I hope will work for you.
