Hi I had the same problem. I solved it by increasing the LimitRequestBody attribute in the file /etc/htppd/conf.d/php.conf. You'll need to restart the httpd daemon after the change. > I'm having a problem attaching files bigger than 500k. > > After selecting the file in the IE6.0 browser window and clicking on the > add button, I instantly get "server not found" in the title bar and "This > page can not be displayed...." in the browser window. > > I'm pretty sure the limit is 500K as I have succes in attaching files < > 490K. > > I have adjusted the posfix maximum message size to 30M. > In PHP.ini I have following settings: > upload_max_filesize = 20M > post_max_size = 10M > max_execution_time = 60 > memory_limit = 64M > > Couldn't find this specific behavior in the archive. > > Any suggestions? > > > My configuration is: > 1,2GHz ADM Duron, 512MB DDR RAM, 2Mb direct internet connection > Redhat 9 > Apache 2 > PHP 4.2.2-17 > PHPA 1.3.3R2 > SQmail 1.4.1 > postfix-1.1.11-11 > Plugins: > 1. abook_take > 2. administrator > 3. compatibility > 4. delete_move_next > 5. filters > 6. message_details > 7. newmail > 8. sent_subfolders > 9. squirrelspell > 10. translate > 11. jsclock > 12. change_passwd > 13. file_manager > 14. smallcal > 15. vacation > 16. listcommands > 17. calendar > 18. todo > 19. notes > 20. autocomplete > 21. askuserinfo > 22. archive_mail > 23. admin_add > 24. squirrel_logger > 25. extract > 26. show_ssl_link > 27. timeout_user > 28. twc_weather > 29. quicksave > 30. show_user_and_ip > 31. virus_scan > > > > cheers, Stefan > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 > Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration > See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
