Well, if you are running 7.3, I assume you put some basic tools in it... check to see if it is installed: rpm -qa | grep ldap if it is, see what it installed: rpm -ql openldap rpm -ql openldap-servers rpm -ql openldap-clients and where it is installed: whereis openldap locate openldap you might need to do: updatedb if locate doesnt show much it should be noted, that the default with RH is to not install openldap-servers. You might need to install this now. look for it with ftp on updates.redhat.com.
