G'day folx,

I'm new here (yes that sometimes is a key word for "have patience";-). I found a few problems with some plugins and tried to check the archives, but they seem to have <STRIKE>disappeared</STRIKE>. Perhaps this is something recent or just a temporary glitch??? So I was not able to check if these problems have been mentioned before and diffs submitted. I have sent email to the plugin authors on these as well, but haven't heard back, so I figured that I will post a query here first before posting any diffs.

* bayespam *
1) Used a mixture of short and long tags and thus does not work for apache servers that use only long tags as in "<?php" rather than "<?".
2) It allows a new user to enable several options that are noted as dangerous even if the user has a small corpus or even non-existant corpus. I set some mins such as: allow enable filter if spamCount > 20 && nonspamCount > 10; allow enable uncertain if spamCount > 30 && nonspamCount > 20; etc...
3) Nuking the DB for a user didn't clear the stats table entries

* delete_move_next *
1) If the was only one message in a folder and it was moved to another folder an IMAP error would result as it tried to move to the next message but there isn't one anymore

* lock_down *
1) not compatible with the password_forget plugin

So any ways, I have addressed the above on my site (sm version 1.4.1), and if these issues have not already been brought up and dealt with then let me know and I can post my fixes.

L8'r,

BRAD
|
