Hello people, I've gotten some more time on my hands so I've been starting with this project. First I'll be comparing the different existing plugins and their exact needs, researching the needed hooks etc. Then I will be building a basic interface (with the things said in this discussion in mind) and a sample backend. I will keep you posted on my progess. A question that arises is whether we should still support 1.2.x. I'm inclined to write it for >=1.4.0, since that is the new stable release for some while. It keeps the code clean and efficient and does not create an extra dependency on e.g. the compatibility plugin. What do you think? Thijs |
