Hello all, There is already a very nice calendar at sourceforge, http://sourceforge.net/projects/pbcs/ (I see Thomas also mentioned PBCS :-) Since a few days I'm also added to the developer-list :-) I Just printed RFC2445 RFC2446 and RFC2447 (vCalendar). If you want to develope a calendar solution then I think it will be wise to follow RFC standards about it. Maybe we could join in our efforts in one system following vCalendar. About the addressbook. In SM 1.3 we make use of the addressstructure like described in RFC2060. The advantage of it is that we already separated the personal name, the mailbox name and the host name. Maybe you can use that as a base for the addressbook. What I realy recommand is make use of RFC2425 and RFC2426. That's where vCard is described and I think Outlook also make use of such a standard. > > Mail from Jason Yau >> At this point, I'm >> working on a separate calendar system as well so I wouldn't be getting >> to the address book for at least a month or two, but I was just >> wondering if there's any currently ongoing development in this area >> towards the goals I mentioned. > > Hello Jason > Last time I asked for a groupware calendar solution, lot of people where > interested.
