Try enter not just a user name but user name+your domain, something like that: us...@my... Sincerely yours, Anton -----Original Message----- From: squ...@li... Hi all, I am having the "Unknown user or password incorrect." problem after a successful login. I could initially login, then after some clicks within squirrelmail, the scripts comes up with something saying "Not logged in", so after a re-login, everything will be ok, then "Not logged in" will come back to haunt. After a few times of re-login, the script will shut me out completely. I can only re-login perhaps the next day. What I have found in the IMAP server's syslog is something like: Command stream end of file, while reading line user=\1a\1w\1a\1y\1 The actual user name is "away". So looks like the scripts are sending out wrong user name to the IMAP server. I can however using telnet to log in to the IMAP server. Why is \1 is added to the user name is beyond me. Things I have tried: different php versions (inc php-4.0.6) Different squirrelmail versions, including the latest stable release and the today's CVS shot. Different browser, including lynx. Please help. I have been trying all kinds of web mail scripts, none of them come close to squirrelmail. So I really need to get this going.:) Thanks _________________________________________________________________ Join the world's largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- Bringing you mounds of caffeinated joy >>> http://thinkgeek.com/sf <<< -- squirrelmail-users mailing list List Address: squ...@li...
