Hello, all. I wrote up a few plugins a while back, and I've been using them in production at Hawaii Online (www.aloha.net) for a few months now. I figured it was about time I packaged them up and shared them, so here's the first of two. Autorespond is Yet Another vacation and forwarding plugin. It lets you modify your vacation message and forwarding address and toggle either one on or off, and it will also let you toggle whether to keep a local copy. It's FTP-based, so your system will need to provide FTP access to accounts via the IMAP login names. I don't mean to step on any of the other plugin developers' toes here, but I didn't find anything that quite provided the user interface I wanted back when I wrote this, nor did I find anything that integrated both forward editing and vacation editing into the same system. If anyone has any suggestions for improvement or bug reports, or needs little tweaks to make it work for their system, I'd be happy to hear feedback and do what I can to make this more useful to others. I developed it under SquirrelMail 1.2.10, and I just made a few changes to make it work under 1.4. If anybody has trouble running it under either system, though, please let me know. Best regards. -- = o'shaughnessy evans = = unix sys admin @ aloha.net = |
