I see that in 2004, a Wiki request was posted:
"2004-10-25 - Auto-BCC option
There should be an option to automatically add the sender name to the "Bcc:" header line. Note that this option is different from (and should be independent of) automatically filing a copy of the message in the "Sent" folder."
I always want to Bcc myself so that the message is available to my POP-account-based e-mail clients (eg, Eudora). It would be very helpful if there were an option that allowed the account holder to enable the Bcc field being pre-completed with the configured e-mail address.
Thank you for your time and efforts.
Please see the Auto CC plugin. Note that it adds the needed input fields on Options --> Personal Information.

In the future, please make sure to have a look around the list of plugins for features you think are missing.
Thanks for your interest!
The Auto CC and Compatibility plugins appear to work perfectly with version 1.4.20 on MacOS X Server 10.5.8.
I looked through all the feature requests, but wasn't aware of the plugins.
Thank you for your kind assistance, and especially for your grace.
