#1700 OneTimePad function truncates password

squirrelmail works flawless for many month. suddenly I
cant login. squrrelmail say wrong username or passwort.
i´ve change nothing in squirrelmail but update my
system regulary with officl SuSE security updates.

impad reports wrong password in syslog

after some digging into the problem I discovered a
problem with the OneTimepad functions. they truncate
the passwords. I found two cases "missing last
character" and "truncate at the digit "0"".

my configuration:

SuSE Linux 8.2
Kernel 2.4.26
apache 1.3.26
php 4.2.2
squirrelmail 1.4.3.a
