Hallo zusammen, ich möchte gerne ein Squirrel Plugin schreiben, welches Metadaten zweier Datenbanken vergleicht. Der Hintergrund ist, dass ich wir momentan unsere Informix Datenbank auf Oracle migrieren. Der erste Schritt zum Validieren der Migration, wäre meiner Ansicht nach, zu Testen ob die Metadaten beider Datenbanken gleich sind. Ich stelle mir jetzt folgende Fragen: * Wäre es denkbar diese Aufgabe mithilfe eines Squirrel Plugins zu lösen ? * Bietet mir Squirrel Funktionalitäten die mir die Arbeit erleichtern (im gegensatz zu plain Java/JDBC) ? * Gibt es schon Squirrel-basierte Lösung für mein Problem ?
