I am preparing to make the transition to Maven this weekend. Assuming no issues come up, I will build/upload the snapshot this weekend entirely with Maven. I am also updating the wiki (https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/squirrel-sql/wiki/DeveloperGuide) which will guide you through setting up your Maven development workspace. Stay tuned...
