There is a plugin available called session scripts that allows you to run a SQL script upon connecting. If you have version 3, it can be installed using the Update manager (Help -> Software Update). You can also get the installer for any version and select the optional plugin when you install. Just be sure to install into a fresh directory if the installer version and version of what is already installed don't match.
