[Squirrel-sql-develop] Squirrel performance over low bandwidth connection

Hi there,

If you connect squirrel to a remote database over a low bandwidth 
connection, it hangs when connecting initially for a long time 
(obviously loading the schema), but then when it is connected the 
performance is quite good.

Just an observation , for possible improvement of a great product.
