    More information, This MS SQL Server JDBC Driver 7.2 no problem with another, as dBeaver. I checked and set Driver's parameter in the same value.

    Sorry, I can't reproduce your problem.

    Can you give some more details?

    For my test I used the driver from here:
    https://github.com/Microsoft/mssql-jdbc/releases

    Many thanks. I use from Microsoft directly as below, that the lastest version, to connect to MS SQL Server 2017 Express with Squirrel SQL Client 3.9.0. and got problem as shown. As your suggestion I'll try it, if any question, may I ask you for help?

    Two things you may try:

    • put as few libs as possible on your extra class path. First try should be the JDBC driver jar only.
    • Got to menu File --> Global Preferences --> tab SQL --> Adjust the login time out and see if after a longer time out the connection is created.

    I tried another JDBC Driver, jTDS Driver from SourceForge, got problem too,

    But both of these JDBC Driver are working on dBeaver without any setting in Driver's Properties.

    Execuse me! I noticed that in Squirrel log file show some error that not deal with JDBC Driver. Does this occured due to I use .zip file, (no installation) in my machine or not ?

    I don't think the log messages have anything to do with your MSSQL problem.

    If you know a bit of Java you may try to reproduce the problem with the following code:

    Driver driver =
    Class.forName("<YourFullyQualifiedDriverClassName >").newInstance();

    Properties myProps = new Properties();
    myProps.put("user", "<username>");
    myProps.put("password", "<password>");
    Connection con =
    driver.connect("<jdbcUrl>", myProps);

    I known that the error in this log not related to my MS SQL JDBC error, just doubt that these errors occurred due to I using .zip file no installation instead. So I should be use the installation file to get out of these such error, isn't it ?
