Hi,
the squirrel-sql.sh script doesn't work under OS/X when executed against the plain zip package (the OS/X package doesn't work at all). It defines $UNIX_STYLE_HOME=$SQUIRREL_SQL_HOME=`dirname "$0"`/Contents/Resources/Java, when it should be $(dirname "$0") for this kind of packaging.
I'm referring to the 3.4.0 version
Hi Marco,
You said "the OS/X package doesn't work at all". Are you saying that the Mac OS X installer is not working for you? We haven't spent much time optimizing the plain zip for Mac OS X because the Mac environment has special needs. That is why we have a separate mac installer which should provide the best installation experience for Mac users. Is this not working for you ?
Rob
I've tried again the OS X installer and it worked this time. I suspect my first attempt failed cause I renamed the target .app folder created by the installer post-installation. Sorry about that.
