User Reviews

  • Very useful project. Unfortunately unsquash and mksquash haven't got some needed features. examples? 1. mksquash doesn't detect added on files when we add new files to repository 2. mksquash are no options for compress data, and leave directory structure as uncompressed 3. unsquash cannot decompress files directly to stdout instead physical file 4. deduplication works only for identical files. when different files have got partially the same content it won't be deduplicated. the same is when the same content is copied many times in the same file But generally it is very usefull software, specially for linux live distributions.
