As a admin i received copy of user registration notification on May 13. I was not able to see the user in the ladder ranking. This actually happened second time in the ladder. The first time I just asked user to re-register. Below is the extract from the email notification i mentioned:

I figured out what is going on: the application behave this way when being accessed from smart phones (I tested Nexus One and iPhone) or from Safari browser (Mac or Win).
Basically, ppl coming from this devices/browsers are able to register and get the confirmation email but nor record in the database. Even for the properly registered users they are not able to login with valid userid and passwords from those devices/browsers. UI also is not rendered properly.
As more and more people start using smart phones & Macs - this will became a real pain.
