This release contains a port of the UIS1+ skin to UIS2, new colored tabs and tab panes and another try to fix horizontal taskbars.

This release comes with some more performance improvements for TabbedPanes and a significantly changed Laf-Plugin.

Squareness Look And Feel now integrates Laf-Plugin that simplifies the extension of look and feels for third party Swing components.

This release improves the look of pushbuttons placed side by side.

In this release I fixed some bugs.

After a long period of silence, I finally created a new Squareness skin. This time it's a skin for PalmRevolt, a skinning tool for Palm OS.

This is a bugfix release of the Squareness Look And Feel.
It fixes two issues with look and feel decorated windows. If you experience ugly laid out windows when using look and feel decorations on windows of any kind, please try our this bugfix.

This is a new release of the Squareness Colorizer, a tool for the creation of new color schemes for the Squareness skins/themes.

This new version adds a preview image and color definitions for the Windowblinds ShellStyle colors. It also comes with a new faster image recoloring algorithm that enables Colorizer to recalculate each preview image on each color change in nearly no time.

There is still no theme generation for Windowblinds, though.

This is an interim release of the Squareness Windowblinds skin.
It has a thin taskbar, compact start panel, flat progress bars, support for basic color changing and also comes with many bugfixes.

Originally I wanted to wait till I have finished the other substyles and the Colorizer tool, but that will take more time - more than I had originally expected.

This is a bugfix release of the Squareness Look And Feel.
It fixes a severe performance bug that appeared when using look and feel painted window borders. This bug manifestated itself in a 100% memory consumption when a dialog with look and feel painted window borders was opened.
This release also applies a posted patch for the situation when a component that has no parent and needs to use the parents background color to paint a portion of itself (borderless buttons - spacer borders around nearly all components).

Release 2.0 of Squareness Look And Feel adds theme support
(this is the reason for the version leap) and painting
of OS-undecorated window title panes.

Colorizer is a tool that simplifies color theme creation.
It has an easy graphical user interface. You don't have
to deal with RGB values. Change the colors you want and
directly see the effect. This release can only generate
color themes for Squareness Look And Feel but the creation
of Squareness for Windowblinds subskins will follow.

This is a minor update that fixes 958104 (Menu arrows don't follow an orientation policy). The problem was that the submenu arrow was always painted in left-right-direction no matter what direction was actually used in the menu. That looked really strange with arabic languages which have a right-to-left direction.

This release also defines a border for JFrame in all its occurences. The border is used when the look and feel is responsible for painting the whole frame. Support for look and feel painted borders is not yet finished with this release. More will follow. In fact the currently painted border which is a mix of Squareness and Metal looks looks really ugly.

This release of the Squareness Look And Feel fixes the appearance of menus and menu items.

The web-site was also updated and contains detailed screenshota of the Look And Feel in action.

The Squareness Look And Feel has reached version 1.0. It is now considered feature complete.

The new version adds a substyle especially for use with .net applications. It uses a smaller button font and fixes therewith the button appearance problems.

Squareness is a suite of skins for different applications and platforms with the purpose to create a uniform look on all supported applications/platforms.
