Hi,
the current Makefile.ins don't allow you to easily set
the directory for man page installation, to set the
system configuration direction (for SQSHRC_GLOBAL) or
to install to a different location to prefix.
This patch changes man_dir to equal the --mandir option
to configure, which defaults to $(prefix)/man, the
current default.
SQSHRC_GLOBAL is redefined to be $(sysconfdir)/sqshrc,
instead of $(prefix)/etc/sqshrc, --sysconfdir is
another configure option, which defaults to
$(prefix)/etc/, so again this shouldn't change the
current behaviour.
The final thing this patch does is prefix all the
install paths with the shell variable $(DESTDIR), this
enables sqsh to easily be installed to somewhere other
than where it was configured for.
This patch was created for gentoo linux, to make ebuild
maintenance easier.
