Here is an email I got from Michael Daninos, requesting licensing information to include SQLUnit as part of one of one of their applications. Not sure if they finally went ahead and included it, but here is the email anyway:

Hi,
I work as a Program Manager for a software vendor Netonomy - we are based in Paris.
We deliver several applications for the telecommunications market including electronic commerce, self care, and point of sales ...
Those applications offer several channels for the end-user access including web.
We keep customer information, product catalog and any orders in a RDBMS which can be Oracle, SQLServer or DB2.
As it looks like SQLUnit provides features we need to test things that are in the database before and after end user actions, I would like to get informed about licensing policy.
Our products are application - our customers customize some parts of the application to meet their specific business requirements.
Our goals are the following:
1. We would like to use your software in our Quality control team to test our applications. In clear we would like to write our own test based on SQLUnit runtime
2. We would like to give the SQLUnit tests we have written to our professional services team to let them use those tests as a basis for their test plan and let them write their own tests on their customized applications.
3. We would like to give the SQLUnit tests we have written to our System Integrators to let them use those tests as a basis for their test plan and let them write their own tests when they customized our applications.
Therefore, we would like to have the ability to distribute binary code of the SQLUnit to our customers in order to ensure they run properly the tests.
Could you please provide me with SQLUnit' licensing policy as far as distributing binary code is concerned?
