[Sqlrelay-discussion] "database is locked" on new install (SQLite)

I have a clean copy of cywin to which I d/l &installed the latest rudiments,
sqlrelay and sqlite (3.3.3).

 

This is on Cygwin

 

Built sqlrelay as static with sqlite in it - and that is all (aside from
language bindings)

I made a database with one test table and one row in SQLite.

I started up sqlrelay (following all the instructions including
CYGWIN=server and handoff=reconnect)

 

Every query (select * from testable) returns :

Database is locked

 

The same is true for every insert.

 

I've restarted sqlrelay several times via sqlr-stop.

 

Any ideas?
