Has the technology advance we have to follow.

I would request to our great designer of SQLrelay. If he could write an PDO
extension for sqlrelay.

As PDO is an universal wrapper, and that PDO is very much faster than
PEAR::DB, that could improve enormously the performance of database
connection for php.
