[Sqlrelay-discussion] Could not open: /var/cache/sqlrelay/tmp/ipc/myid

hi all,

I'm trying to use sqlrelay (version 1:0.38-3ubuntu-1 installed from
Hardy's repo) under Ubuntu.
but when I type (as root or as normal user)

sqlr-listener -id myid

I get this error:

Could not open: /var/cache/sqlrelay/tmp/ipc/myid
Make sure that the file and directory are readable and writable.

unsuccessful completion

sqlr-listener failed to start.

I searched around and I read about manual folders' structure creation
(/var/cache/sqlrelay/tmp): I did it, but without any results.

can anyone help me fixing this?
