Ok. It's possible create SQLppNET.dll with VC++? Or same limitations included? Hi.
I use C++ (sqlpp) to gererate the DAL classes. It works fine.
I would be more confortable for me to use C# similar in your
"SQLppNETTest" project.
Unfortunaly I can't build the SQLppNET.dll assembly.
I am care to try create the wrappers in C++.
Can you help me by this problem?

Make sure you named your assembly WikiNet.dll and there is a class named
WikiNet.Config.DataProviderConfigurationHandler in it. appConfig has
nothing to do with that....

Hello Jonathan de Halleux.
I have the same ConfigurationException
("WikiNet.Config.DataProviderConfigurationHandler, WikiNet could not
created") exception.
I added following section into my app.confing
<appSettings>
<add key="test" value="myString" />
</appSettings>
and this lines in DataProviderConfigurationHandler.cs
NameValueCollection appSet = ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings;
Console.WriteLine("test: " + appSet.Get("test"));
The String "test: myString" appeared in console, so it was my fault to
say that the config could not found.
Something else seems to go wrong?
The "CacheManagerSettings" section with CacheConfigurationHandler works
fine.
Hope you can help me.

The wikki classes don't contain such xxFacade files.
Do I need the bereichFacade class and for what is the Facade required?
In bereichFacade the debugger can't find the type bereichDataTable

handling Null values. I

I have add cache.config which is an example of how you
can configure the Cache application block. If you want
to generate the DAL for a web server, you can disable
the use of the Cache block by using

Hallo again!
I have a couple of questions to the sqlpp framework.
I compile the wikki database successful :)
Now I try to use the generated wikki classes with a c# project.
I found out that I have to implement NullableTypes-1.0.dll and
ApplicationBlocks.Data.dll to run the project.
After this, the beduger don't find the CacheManager. As soon as I know
ASP.NET |(System.Web.Caching.Cache) |provides || this class.
I have difficults understanding this. I will not use ASP.NET.

itrace_generaor is part of another project. Just remove it from the project. Go to the main.cpp file and make sure you include wiki_generator.h and=20 uncomment the method wiki.generate(). Hi, The .Net wrapper is out of date some it should have problems to compile.=20 Moreover, it is incomplete. I had to abondon it due to the limitation of= MC++. Yes there might be a problem with the .Net wrapper and boost 1.31 since=20 sqlpp was compiled against 1.30.2. I will try compiling sqlpp with the new boost release. Halo dear sqlpp user. I use long time torque with java. I was happy as I found out that powerfull Project exist vor .net :) I am not able to compile the sqlpp_src_v2.9\sqlpp\SQLppNET\SQLppNET.vcproj Project. I was trying to use SQLParser in C# but without success. First - SQLppNET.Parsers.SQLParser object don't have any useful metod or propert. I found that he has static metod "parse", but it's impossible to use it because it isn't a public metod. After small correction of cpp source and recompilation of sources I've made some simple test but without any effects - there was even no error. I'm using this incredible library to generate new databases and it works great. Now I would like to work with some already existing db, Can you help me with it? (I'm working with v2.4) tia ziemek |

I am using SS 2000, windows xp, and VS 2003 (7.1) for compiling. The join generated is actually on an index. I scanned index columns and created pseudo fk constraints to mine secondary relationships.
