I get TypeError trying to create Select objects that way:

Select(tab, [...], where=..., groupBy=...)

--> TypeError: __init__() got multiple values for keyword argument 'where'

Omitting the table name first arg makes it work. We have a dispute here 
then, don't we? ;)

BTW. My SQLObject is 0.7rc1. It would be quite unappetizing if Select() 
semantics changed in post-0.7.
