We are using Lineox, Redhat Enterprise 4. Company policy is that we don't upgrade other than using "apt-get upgrade" so I cannot install Python 2.3.5 (or higher). =20 I would really like to use SQLobject but am not having any success installing. I was able to install the easy_install package without errors and it seems to be ok, even though it says it needs 2.3.5. When I try to use it to install SQLobject, I get errors on @dispatch.generic() and other lines beginning with "@". but in the end it says it installed FormEncode ok. But there is no indication of it then installing SQLobject. So is there a way to install SQLobject on a python 2.3.4 linux system?
