Hello, How can I programmatically inspect SQLObject classes? E.g. given the following definition: class Foo(SQLObject): pubid =3D StringCol(length=3D8,varchar=3DFalse, title=3D"publicly visible identifier", alternateID=3DTrue,unique=3DTrue,notNone=3DTrue) How can retrieve column's length? What I actually want is to have 'browser-friendly' identifiers like = 'dse33gse' that can be exposed to the public. Currently I'm going to = write makepubid() function that would be given class object and which = would return new unused identifier. If you know of better/cleaner way to = do it your advice is welcomed. |
