[SQLObject] PickleCol problem

Hello all,

I have a problem using PickleCol. For some reason, I am not able to set the 
col value to an emptry dictionary. Could someone offer some insight into this 
problem ?

...     someCol = PickleCol(default=None, length=9999999)
...
>>> A.createTable()
>>> a = A()
>>> a.someCol = None
>>> a.someCol = {}
