How is it difference from other in-memory DB llike timesten / hsql? Faster for reading? What is the tradeoff??
Couple of benefits I can think of: a) free b) not tied to Java
Tradeoff is single-threaded operation which doesn't make use of multiple cores. See project mdcached for an alternative.
