#2154: cast()ing a DateTime from SQLite throws exception, works in PostgreSQL ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: guest | Type: defect Status: new | Priority: medium Milestone: 0.6.xx | Component: access Severity: no triage selected yet | Keywords: sqlite cast typeerror exception Status_field: awaiting triage | ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Something such as session.query(cast(func.min(test_table.c.sometime), DateTime)).one() Will cause an exception to be thrown when using SQLite but not PostgreSQL. If the cast is removed, it works fine. Attached is a short script which reproduces the problem. -- Ticket URL: <http://www.sqlalchemy.org/trac/ticket/2154> sqlalchemy <http://www.sqlalchemy.org/> The Database Toolkit for Python |
