I have this spyce page (pageA) which in some situations wants to display a different spyce page (pageB). In particular, if the user requests pageA and isn't logged in (which can be figured out by looking at a cookie), I want to display pageB, which has the whole "login or register as a new user" rigamarole. In the process of figuring out that the user needs to log in, pageA will have collected certain data -- say a string called message, which might contain something like "Your username and password do not match" or "Your cookie has expired and you've been logged out... for your own good!" or something. So it seems like I have two options: redirect.internal('pageB') # no way to pass message, but pageB's parent template is respected include.spyce('pageB', context=3Dmessage) raise spyceDone # passed message, but pageB's parent template is not respected Is this some option that allows me to pass in message and also have pageB's parent template executed? |
