>I would appreciate any pointers on setting up Spyce under Windows and >IIS. The best way of setting up Spyce under IIS is using the FastCGI plugin for IIS. CGI will also work, albeit more slowly. >My main difficulty has been in getting the spyce command to work. When >running the command as "spyce -c <filename>" the response is about 50 >lines of "<filename> not found", followed by "</body></html>" and no >output! The other problem is setting up the values on the spyce.conf >file. If I set the debug flag to 0 (or delete the entry from the .conf >file) , then I get a spyce exception. This seems to be the primary problem. First, please check whether you have the documentation on your computer (i.e. not the .spy files, but the compiled .html files). If yes, this means that Spyce does work on your machine, at least for the installer that compiles the documentation on the fly. And that's a start. If not, then could you please send more information. It would help to know what version of Python you have installed, what version of Spyce, whether you used the automated Windows installer, what version of Windows, and also the text of the exception that you see. All the best, Rimon. |
